Taylor Salerno

Taylor is a 12 year old girl who was born in NYC. She loves Christmas and always wished she could meet her Great Grandpa Pat, who was a WWII Veteran.  A Purple Heart Christmas was inspired by her Great Grandpa Pat, along with the Purple Heart pendant she wears in honor of him. Taylor’s hope is that this book will not only get families into the Christmas spirit but will also encourage children to learn more about the Purple Heart and the sacrifices of our veterans.
